At Stim, we use THREE main finishes depending on the intended use of your timber product

  1. Polyurethane - this is typically used for items subject to general wear and tear and the odd knock. Polyurethane is a clear, semi-flexible, chemically inert coating that forms a transparent layer over your wood product

    • Wipe down with a slightly moistened clean cloth after use

    • Use a gentle cleaner such as Spray & Wipe for persistent spots

  2. Danish Oil - used for food grade products and for furniture. Danish Oil brings out a warm tone and highlights the grain in timber. It Is food safe.

    • DO NOT use detergents

    • Surface can be fully restored by giving a sand with a very fine ( 320 grit or smoother) sandpaper and re-oiling with Danish Oil
